Do Syta is a restaurant serving traditional Polish food at ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego 2 in Kraków, a few steps from Plac Inwalidów and AGH University. Our guests are people from the nearby offices, students, Krowodrza locals and travellers who want a proper Polish lunch away from the busiest part of the Old Town – we are about 1.5 km from the Main Market Square, so you are still near the Old Town.
Our name is a promise: we cook on site every day, from simple ingredients, with no shortcuts. The pork cutlet is fried in lard, the żurek comes with bread, and the pierogi follow home recipes. Guests order most often the daily lunch set with soup, kotlet schabowy, rosół, Hungarian-style potato pancakes (placki po węgiersku) and pierogi ruskie.

Every day we prepare a daily lunch set (zestaw dnia): a soup and a main course. With soup it costs 38 zł, without soup 33 zł. The dish of the day changes daily – we post the current set on our Facebook page. You can also build your own set: soup of your choice plus a pork cutlet, grilled pork neck or a breaded chicken fillet (42–45 zł).
